How House of Decision Began In 1996, God clearly put it on my heart to sell my successful restaurant. For ten years I had fed people's stomachs, now
it was time to feed their souls. After selling, I approached our town mayor and asked what the biggest need was in our small city of Beaumont. She responded that we had many women and
children that were in bad living situations, and their children were doing poorly in school.
Shortly after I asked a lady who owned an old and abandoned 31 room hotel if she would donate it to use for
housing women and their children. She did, and after much work, we opened the House of Decision in 1997. |
